Meet the Team

Ken is an experienced professional, dedicated to helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals through training and consultancy, with a passion for teaching and mentoring. 

Ken delivers the training, audits and consultancy work.


Mel is also an experienced professional, former DGSA and commercial vehicle enforcement specialist. Mel deals with the organisation, planning and financial aspects of the business.

  • Level 3 EDI award in digital tachographs
  • Level 3 City & Guilds tachograph analysis
  • Level 4 City & Guilds tachograph  calibration (analogue)
  • IMI tachograph recording systems - forensic calibration and digital route tracing
  • Dangerous Goods by sea certificated 
  • Dangerous Goods by air certificated 
  • Member of the Institute of Industrial Accident Investigators (MIIAI)

Experience

Ken has been a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA)  since January 2014 and is also qualified to advise on the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code for sea transport and International Air Transport Association (IATA) qualified to advise on air transportation. 

Ken has extensive enforcement experience of dangerous goods and still has excellent working relationships with enforcement and the relevant competent authority (Department for Transport – DfT).

Ken is heavily involved in the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP) a not-for-profit organization supporting individuals involved in the transport of dangerous goods and is currently the Vice Chair.

Ken is an award winning trainer and has written national training packages, including the Tier 3 enforcement officers course, which was adopted by the College of Policing as the standard for all Police Services to deliver.
